P Hun Sen president of Cambodian People Party the ruling CPP praised its members for their “brilliant successes” during the party’s 40-year rule as he marked the 68th anniversary of the establishment of the party. He also said over the past 68 years, the ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) has striven to save the Kingdom from foreign colonization and invasion, as well as managed to prevent a “colour revolution” initiated by former opposition politicians.

Ruling party spokesman Sok Eysan said Hun Sen will not negotiate with Sam Rainsy, the “acting president” of the Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP).
