Responded to a letter signed by 26 civil society organisations (CSOs) and
50 citizens who requested that the ministry take legal action in cases of
crimes and misconduct committed by wealthy individuals and public officials.
The Ministry of Interior says that in all past criminal cases involving the
general public or law enforcement, the interior ministry has always taken
stern action without exception or compromise.
More than 40,000 families have been identified as eligible to receive the
post-lockdown social assistance cash for families having income problems,
Covid-19 infection families and families with Covid-19 deaths.
