The Khmer Will Party (KWP) will field candidates in place of the Candlelight Party (CP) for the upcoming Senate and District/City Council elections in 2024.
Former union leader Chea Mony has aligned himself with Nation Power Party (NPP), which is a new political party recently established by a former leader of the opposition Candlelight party. The Candlelight Party’s vice president, Rong Chun also announced his resignation from the main opposition party, telling reporters that he will join the newly formed National Power Party.
