Political Party(15th – 19th January, 2024)
The Ministry of Interior has warned three opposition political parties which are involved with former opposition leader Sam Rainsy to immediately cease all activities that violate the law on the political parties.
Prime Minister Hun Manet said that opposition leader Sam Rainsy no longer branded him a baby politician as it could affect French President Emmanuel Macron who is sightly younger than him.
The Khmer Will Party (KWP) plans to hold the party congress on January 20 to revise and update its statutes, and to elect some new directors for its board of governance. It also aims to determine its political strategy for the upcoming Senate Election on February 25.
