The Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC) of the Government has “strongly deplored the groundless, erroneous, and highly politicised statement” of the ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights (APHR), which criticised the Cambodian government over the crackdown against protests concerning the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle Area (CLV-DTA) development plan.

The President of the National Assembly (NA) of Cambodia Khuon Sudary, chaired a meeting of the NA Standing Committee to review and approve several draft laws. The two draft laws include the Draft Law on Wastewater System; and the Draft Law on the Approval of the Kingdom of Cambodia as a Party to the Agreement concerning the Adoption of Harmonised Technical United Nations Regulations for Wheeled Vehicles, Equipment, and Parts which can be Fitted and/or Used on Wheeled Vehicles and the Conditions for Reciprocal Recognition of Approvals Granted based on UN regulations.
