The wives of two political prisoners held in Cambodian jails are fearing
for their husbands’ health after seeing them in failing health during recent
visits, the women said, blaming prison authorities for failing to provide
the men with adequate food.
Representatives of the NagaWorld workers’ union said that a round of
negotiations between staff and management overseen by the the Ministry of
Labour has failed to halt the layoff of more than 1,300 workers.
