Fifty five civil society organizations on February 14, 2024 called for the withdrawal of the complaint against Soeng Senkaruna, senior official of human rights group Adhoc, and for the government to immediately end all forms of harassment against human rights defenders and activists.;

At least 20 prominent independent trade union coalitions, support groups and associations provided thematic reports on the labor rights situation in Cambodia for the upcoming UN Universal Periodic Review (UPR) pre-session in Geneva on 13 February 2024.;

Kuy indigenous community in Bos Village and Preus Ka’ak Village, M’lou Prey II Commune, Chheb District in Preah Vihear Province urge the authorities to help them seek justice after being allegedly assaulted by a group of men. The villagers suspect they are sugarcane plantation workers who destroyed their farmland.;

A Jarai community has submitted a complaint to Nhang commune authorities of Ratanakiri’s Andong Meas district to seek a resolution over an alleged encroachment by a company on the community’s reserve land. This follows a protest they organized earlier this month.;
