The National Election Committee (NEC) displayed this year’s voter list for the first time since registration began last year. There are 9,205,675 voters ready to take part in the commune elections, scheduled for June 5. Just over half, or 4,904,825, are women. This year, 224,970 names have been deleted from the register. The National Election Committee (NEC) on January 6 issued a letter addressing concerns related to the vote-counting process.
