Prime Minister Hun Sen has appealed to all political parties and the voters to participate in the commune elections in a peaceful manner. He also urged the people to abide by election laws, maintain public order and avoid violence. Prime Minister Hun Sen announced that he will not go out to campaign directly before the upcoming communal elections for the 5th mandate, leaving the job to national and sub-national officials.
