Elections/National Election Committee (22th – 26th May, 2023)
As of May 22, a total of 250 national and international journalists have been issued official ID cards by the NEC to cover the upcoming 7th National Assembly election on this coming Sunday, July 23.
As the 18 parties approved to join the July National Elections gear up to begin campaigning. The Candlelight Party (CP) and Khmer Unity Great Nation Party (KUGNP) are now officially out of the upcoming National Election after the Constitutional Council of Cambodia (CCC) upheld the decision by the National Election Committee (NEC) to reject the parties’ registrations.
