The National Election Committee (NEC) has so far received applications from 614 nationals, including 224 women, to be the observers of the upcoming Senate Election, but international observers are yet to apply. The National Election Committee (NEC) said that four political parties have applied to register their agents to observe the upcoming Senate election and the same-day ballot counting.
The National Election Committee (NEC) announced registered parties can campaign for two weeks – from February 10 to 23 – for the 5th Senate Election scheduled on February 25. All campaigning must stop two days before the election.
The 4th Capital, Provincial, Municipal, District and Khan Council Election will take place on Sunday, May 26, 2024.
