The National Election Committee (NEC) commenced a 16-day voter list revision and voter registration process for 2024 in all 1,652 communes nationwide.
The NEC has announced that in the lead up to the preliminary result of the 2024 voter list, registration of new voters has totalled 41,994 citizens, and the number of voters who will be removed from the voter list is 39,162, while 4,539 citizens have asked to correct their data.
