The US government, through the US Agency for International Development (USAID), has resumed the provision of development assistance of $18 million to Cambodia, following the formation of the new government after the July national election.
Prime Minister Hun Manet and Australian foreign minister Penny Wong engaged in discussions aimed at fortifying bilateral relations and resolving differing viewpoints. The talks took place on the sidelines of the 78th UN General Assembly (UNGA 78) in the US’ New York City on September 22.
Thailand will talk with Cambodia about online scammers who operate along the border when both countries’ prime ministers meet this week.
