United Nations human rights and environmental officials called for an end
to Cambodian authorities’ use of “punitive measures” against protectors of
the country’s environment, following the arrests this month of four young
environmental activists.

The Swedish Embassy in Cambodia will officially close its office here in
December. Minister of Interior Sar Kheng asked Sweden to help fight
transnational crime, while also highlighting cooperation between the two

Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to Hun Sen, president of the
Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), on the 70th anniversary of the CPP’s
