| Ten Taiwanese men were sentenced to life in prison and fined 100 million riels (about $25,000) each for possessing and trafficking over 14 tonnes of drugs and chemicals in Preah Sihanouk province in 2022. https://bit.ly/3WhzBki; According to the report provided by the Justice Ministry, since the Campaign Leadership Committee announced its acceptance of complaints from citizens who believed that their cases were handled irregularly, a total of 2,413 complaints were submitted to the committee’s secretariat. However, 17 complaints could not be processed. Therefore, the committee officially handled 2,396 complaints. from January 9, 2024, to January 9, 2025, the courts at all levels nationwide resolved a total of 188,942 cases, which is 82.41% of the total 229,272 cases.
