The Supreme Court on January 20 denied bail to former Battambang provincial deputy governor Sou Arafat who remains jailed over allegations of corruption while awaiting trial on three charges stemming from this case.;

The Appeal Court denied bail for a man who was charged with “public insult and incitement to commit a felony” in connection with writing a Facebook post defaming the words of Prime Minister Hun Sen and the Minister of Agriculture Veng Sakhon.;
