The Phnom Penh Municipal Court upheld the sentence of Thach Setha, former vice-president of the Candlelight Party (C.P.), and closed his appeal over the charge of issuing five dud cheques worth more than $330,000 in 2019.
The Ministry of Justice has established a working group to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the campaign to expedite the resolution of court cases and monitor and resolve irregularities in the courts.
