Keo Remy, Senior Minister and Chairman of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), has defended the arrest of more than 60 activists opposing the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle Area (CLV-DTA) project, stating that the detentions were based on concrete evidence and were necessary to maintain public order and national security.
