Phnom Penh Municipal Court placed Rong Chhun, a senior adviser for the National Power Party (NPP), under court supervision, prohibiting him from travelling abroad. He is also banned from meeting with opposition groups or participating in protests. Any violation of this order will result in his arrest.
A former monk and chief monk, who is also a member of the Candlelight Party (CP), was arrested last week by the Phnom Penh Municipal Court on charges of inciting discrimination against the family of Senate President Hun Sen.

She claimed to be a member of Continue A Journey Team, “confessed” her mistake and accused law expert Vorn Chan Lout of allegedly intending to overthrow the government by planning the anti-Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle Area (CLV-DTA) protest.
