Prime Minister Hun Sen has decided to cease the provision of 300,000 riel
payments to residents in the locked down areas and has decided instead to
increase available food assistance such as rice, canned fish, noodles and
soy sauce.
Prime Minister Hun Sen said the world is in need of a global governance
system that supports multilateralism and respects international law and the
sovereignty of each country, no matter its size or breadth of resources,
with the UN as the central coordinating entity.
