Prime Minister Hun Sen has warned some non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and international organisations in Cambodia that the government will revoke their licences if they fail to submit their financial report outlining their source of funding. He ordered Minister of Justice Keut Rith not to entertain any request for amnesty or sentence reduction from Cambodian-American human rights activist Seng Theary so that she stays in detention until her jail term is served.

Prime Minister Hun Sen said he has ordered the government’s lawyers, judicial officials, and legal experts to jointly cooperate with local officials to boost out-of-court dispute settlement at the community level.
