Prime Minister Hun Sen has ordered the immediate suspension of all gatherings in view of the severe spread of COVID-19 cases. He also has ordered a reduction of 90 per cent of staff numbers at state institutions for at least seven days and urged private businesses to also work from home as the country grapples with the large-scale outbreak of Covid-19.

Prime Minister Hun Sen approved the provision of more supplies and food assistance to the seven provinces bordering Thailand to meet the daily consumption needs of returning migrant workers.
