Legislative and Executive (14th – 18th August, 2023)
The first sitting of the 7th Cambodian National Assembly (NA) will be convened on August 21, nearly one month after its election that took place on July 23.
The Supreme Privy Council of the King will soon appoint new members to the council to expand the body’s existing numbers with retired top government leaders, and the ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) has come out to attest to the integrity of the council.
