Prime Minister Hun Sen ordered Cambodia Border Affairs Committee chairman Var Kimhong to meet with villagers at the demarcated border areas in Tboung Khmum province, who claimed their farmlands have been lost to Vietnam. Border Affairs Committee chairman Var Kimhong said  that the government will send copies of newly-drawn border topographic maps between Cambodia and Vietnam to be kept at the United Nations for international recognition.
