Prime Minister Hun Manet denied claims that Cambodia would borrow from China to build the Funan Techo Canal.
Cambodia exported 9.9 billion U.S. dollars worth of garment, footwear and travel products to international markets in the first 11 months of 2023, down 15 percent from nearly 11.7 billion dollars in the same period last year.

Senior officials believe the area has the potential to become a tourist attraction, and urged that an application for the reclassification be submitted to the government for formal approval.
