The Ministry of Interior held a recent consultative workshop on a new draft law on information technology crimes in order to gather input from all stakeholders to ensure the legislation will be fit for purpose in the digital age.
The Minister of Justice, will order the dismissal of any judges who are involved in corruption or misconduct in a bid to reform the judicial system in Cambodia and for the Kingdom’s rule of law to regain the public’s trust. The Ministry of Justice has issued a statement saying that it has paid close attention to the developing issues surrounding an investment fund managed by Cambodian Investors Corporation Plc (CIC), following claims by investors that it has defrauded them of up to $90 million dollars.
