A total of 26 journalist associations and civil society organisations have jointly organised a one-week social media campaign to mark World Press Freedom Day 2022 under the theme “Journalism under Digital Siege” to reflect the importance of press freedom and to encourage public participation to protect it. The Ministry of Information, in collaboration with UNESCO, will be organising the World Press Freedom Day 2022 on May 3 under the theme “Journalism Under Digital Siege” to encourage and develop initiatives that foster freedom of expression, press freedom and freedom of information. The Ministry of Information has extended its congratulations and reaffirmed its commitment to continue to uphold the press freedom in Cambodia.
