The Ministry of Information warns of a crackdown on journalists and online creators who are licensed by the ministry but extort money from citizens in order to strengthen professionalism and ethics. The Ministry of Information held a consultation with some 200 media associations and journalists on the draft charter for professional journalism. While several associations backed the charter, albeit with limited input, others requested more time to review it.

The Club of Cambodian Journalists (CCJ), in collaboration with the National Authority for Combating Drugs (NACD), organised a forum on “Policies and Strategies of the Royal Government of Cambodia to Combat Illegal Drugs.”
