Based on the Commune Election result and current popularity, an independent election watchdog Neutral and Impartial Committee for Free and Fair Election in Cambodia (NICFEC) has analysed that the ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) may secure more than 80 percent of the seats while its rival Candlelight Party (CP) may gain the majority of the balance seats, a different scenario from a previous CPP prediction.
