EkPHeaP Cheat Khmer Party’s (ECKP) second vice-president Lak Sopheap will file a lawsuit against her own party’s first vice-president Oun Chim, for damaging her reputation as a politician.;
The ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) has slammed the court-dissolved Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) leaders for saying the cancellation of the Victory Day celebration was a sign of an internal rift among the CPP leaders.;
The Ministry of Interior has hinted that the founding representatives of unrecognised opposition party Cambodia National Heart Party (CNHP) must face criminal charges, following its loss of a legal battle in the country’s highest court over fraudulent thumbprints.;
Two ex-CNRP commune councillors and ex-commune chiefs were released from Prey Sar prison’s Correctional Center 2 (CC2) after they both served the term of their 18-month-sentence in the prison for inciting the people against the government committed in 2020.;
In the lead-up to the commune council elections scheduled for June 5, political parties have begun campaigning at the village level and meeting with their supporters and activists to drum up support, though one party has expressed concerns about intimidation tactics allegedly being used against them during the process.;
