The National Power Party held its first congress to elect leaders in Stung Sen City, Kampong Thom province. Ministry of Justice spokesman Chin Malin has reiterated that – in accordance with Cambodian law – Rong Chhun, the former vice president of the Candlelight Party (CP) who recently declared his political affiliation with the National Power Party (NPP), is ineligible to stand for election.
