Political Party ( 31st July – 04th August, 2023)
Khmer National United Party (KNUP) president Nhek Bun Chhay is still helming the party after his promise to resign if it fails to win any seats in the July 23 National Election.
The Cambodian Indigenous Peoples Democracy Party (CIPDP) claims that its party gained more votes in the recent 7th National Election because the party highlighted human rights policies that concern land ownership issues, destruction of natural resources, overcoming discrimination, the protection of indigenous identity and promotion of justice for indigenous peoples.
