His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, has issued a Royal Decree pardoning for member of parliament of former CNRP Kong Saphea, after he sent an apology letter to the prime minister according to the Royal Decree issued late April 24, 2024.
Senate President Hun Sen has accepted an apology from a senior opposition official involved in a court case last year, saying that he will ask the court to withdraw the lawsuit against the latter.
The new leadership of Grassroots Democratic Party (GDP) has said that it intends to maintain its alliance with the Candlelight Party and the Cambodian Reform Party.
