The Candlelight Party (CP) dismissed reports saying that it is seeking replacement for its 774 commune councillors who did not vote for Khmer Will Party (KWP) in the recently held Senate Election.
The Khmer Movement for Democracy was founded by some Cambodians residing in the US and spearheaded by Mu Sochua, who was a CNRP vice-president and is living in self-exile. Sochua, as President of the Khmer Movement for Democracy, which was created, aims to build the capabilities of youth to become strong leaders who care for the nation. “The Khmer Movement for Democracy aims to gather and unite democrats to work together to liberate Cambodia.
