The ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) has declared a resounding victory in the Capital, Provincial, City and District Council elections for the fourth mandate.
The opposition party, which won more than 300 seats in the provincial/municipal and district council electio, will monitor and review the implementation of the administrative structure levels. An election observer, however, felt that there is “not much hope” of positive changes as the opposition holds “no power” in making decisions.
