Prime Minister Hun Sen and president of the ruling party Cambodian People Party   threatened to use Cambodia’s army against supporters of banned opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) acting president Sam Rainsy’s planned return from self-imposed exile next month on 9 November.  Anyone who has “unintentionally” become involved in exiled opposition leader Sam Rainsy’s planned homecoming next month can confess and be spared punishment, Prime Minister Hun Sen said

Hun Sen also said  that November 9 should be used to celebrate Khmer speciality ork ambok or flattened rice to represent the beating of those who wished to topple the government. The Council of Ministers’ Press and Quick Reaction Unit (Press OCM)  released a video calling Sam Rainsy a second Lon Nol and accusing him of having “crossed the red line of democracy”.https://bit.ly/31LjQDW;  http://bit.ly/2MbisE6;  http://bit.ly/2MbLkvJ; https://bit.ly/334rRUu; https://bit.ly/2Vc5VUR;
